Linda Dowley loves to talk college. Consequently, she has made college information presentations her focus. She does not provide individual counseling, but instead concentrates on providing information to public schools, college tour groups, parent groups and philanthropy groups such as National Charity League and National League of Young Men. She works primarily at La Jolla High School providing college programs and weekly articles in the school’s eNews.  If you have a group of students or parents who would benefit from a college presentation (content can be tailored to the audience needs, and price will vary depending upon the length of the presentation) please contact her.

Linda has a passion for education and has been a long-time public school volunteer. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in French, and got her Certificate in College Counseling from UCSD. She is the parent of three college graduates, and she and her husband live in La Jolla.

Linda is a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling (WACAC) and the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) where she serves as Regional Coordinator for San Diego.
